Microsoft Helps Launch the Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani

Samsung B7620 Giorgio ArmaniAt long last, there’s a fashion phone accessory that doesn’t toe the line that fashion phone should be sleek and sexy.  The new Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani takes off where other fashion phones leave, covering another part of the market looking for a full-featured smartphone that is also a fashion statement about their successful lifestyles.  Never mind its heft and bulk, as most business phones are.

Giorgio Armani took the time off to make a personal pitch during the phone’s recent launch saying that the B7620 can coordinate “perfectly with Giorgio Armani suits” which would make it “perfect for today’s managers.”

Well said. The latest bronze (or Gold) bodied Samsung-Armani baby is well-suited for corporate executives who want beauty and full-featured functionalities under their silk-lined Armani suits.  And the latest Samsung Armani smartphone fits the bill perfectly

Pricey High End Features

Running the Windows Mobile 6.5 on a powerful microprocessor engine, the hefty 164g full-QWERTY Slider touchscreen handset comes with a 2-step 30-degree tilt for its display when fully slid out.  The Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani features HSDPA and HSUPA on the 3G network for broadband internet surfing speeds.  It has WiFi, A-GPS and Bluetooth 2.0 to cap off its data connectivity functions.  It sports a 3/5” WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, 8 GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB from its microSD slot, and a 5-megapixel autofocus Camera.

Apart from handling all the popular media files formats, you get FM radio and when it comes to internet surfing, you get the Opera 9.5 browser.  There’s a document reader that can access your MS Office files

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer speaks about smartphones running on its platform declaring that they “bring together the best of the Web, the PC, and mobile phones so that people can connect instantly to the experience they care about” but more than that, “they want a phone that offers design qualities that match their personality and lifestyle.”

And the Samsung B7620 Giorgio Armani is really all about lifestyle – the affluent kind.   At around ₤700, this magnificent is certainly not for everyone.  While its rich features can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price, nothing comes close to it in terms of imparting the owner the bragging rights that come with the Armani label on it.
