Samsung Genio Featuring Wi-Fi Coming Soon

Posted in Samsung Phones on December 7th, 2009

Samsung GenioSamsung will soon be releasing one of its most successful and cheapest touch-screen mobile phones, Samsung Genio S3650, with a Wi-Fi enabled version. Although it has not been announced by Samsung officially just yet, we learned this as the stylish mobile phone model just finalized its certification as the S3650W with the Wi-Fi association.

Samsung S3650 Genio is not the first phone which has been equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity after release. Earlier, Samsung had also integrated Wi-Fi into the Star S5230. Samsung will be introducing no less than 3 million phone sets in the market with the upgrade, which will truly introduce the improved Genio as the most convenient and suitable mobile phone for users on a budget.

With the addition of the Wi-Fi feature, the Samsung S3650 Genio is the hottest touch-screen phone for its price range. We will just be anxiously keeping a watch on how the market reacts to the new shipment.

The certification papers for the Samsung S3650W were found on the official Wi-Fi Alliance website, confirming the certification of the phone. This also alludes to the fact that Samsung is preparing for production of the improved model in bulk, so the mobile markets in Europe and around the world should prepare for a much stronger Samsung Genio. However, there would not be any change in the rest of the features.

Although nothing can be reported for sure until we get the official nod from the Korean electronics giants, but the expectations from the improved Genio are very high for those who have learned about the news. Others are not as thrilled, as they expect a price difference making the users earn the Wi-Fi connectivity. Let us just hope the phone does not prove to be the expensive version of the Samsung Genio sans Wi-Fi.
