Samsung Memoir Now Free at T-Mobile
T-Mobile is making a high-end smartphone available for its users for free upon the signing of a two year contract agreement namely the Samsung Memoir. The handset which was unveiled last February has been up for purchase since the end of the same month; February.
The idea is to have the Samsung Memoir given out to T-Mobile’s subscribers for free over a two year contract agreement. The subscribers under T-Mobile can get it for free on a deal equaling the same time frame with an Even More plan. Sounds like a good deal to me. An 8-megapixel photo snapper and a full touchscreen display all coming for free does not come any better than it is already!
Compared to other mobile devices around, the Samsung Memoir might not seem appealing, but do not forget to have at the back of your mind that the 8-megapixel photo snapper can prove a great option in a lot of cases. Should any of the T-Mobile subscribers be interested in buying the phone with an Even More Plus plan from the carrier, then they will have to be ready to part with the sum of $449.99 for it.
Just to refresh your memories about some of the great features of the Samsung Memoir, it comes with full support for 850MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz frequencies, 3G capabilities, support for instant messaging, Windows Live, video recording features, Yahoo!, Picture messaging, E-mail and Internet browsing and AIM.
The Samsung Memoir also comes to the market with additional features like Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, music player, video player, built-in GPS and a 1000mAh Li-ion battery that delivers up to 4.8 hours of talk time or up to 9 days of standby time. The phone measures 4.2 x 2.1 x 0.6 inches and weighs in at 4.4 ounces, supporting a micro SD memory card slot in case of additional storage space and a I GB memory card included in the package for retailers.
