Samsung S5600Samsung’s new touch phone S5600 carries all the features a mobile phone should. Samsung announced about it not so long ago and it’s expected to release in the European markets in May 2009.
The S5600 sports a 2.8inch QVGA screen and a 3MP camera which comes coupled with Smile Shot feature and video capturing. You can use the accelerometer to rotate the screen to either portrait or landscape when you’re holding the phone either way.
It’s 103mmx55mmx12.9mm of size and weighs only 96g so it would not be any trouble carrying it around or sliding it into your pocket or handbag easily. Plus it looks very business-like and fashionable at the same time so it can easily market itself to both corporate and youthful customer segments. Running on Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, the phone looks good while being used also, and is very easy to use.
The Samsung S5600 comes in quad-band GSM at 850/900/1800/1900MHz and dual-band UMTS at 900/2100MHz. You can also get high speed internet access using HSDPA. The Shazam music recognition feature would be the delight of every music lover because with this feature you can identify the names of audio tracks. The S5600 also features Gesture Lock where you can lock and unlock the phone by drawing a symbol on the display. The battery is 1000mAh and it can give you up to 3hrs talk time and 12.5days standby time. There’s internal memory availability of 80MB but it can be extended with the use of microSD slot if needed.
