Samsung Omnia HD i8910 review. The Fabulous HD Phone

Posted in I-Series on April 4th, 2009

Samsung Omnia HD i8910 has caught my heart with its 3.7 inch screen. This phone has fabulous camera features. To start with, it has an 8 mp camera. wow! And HD video recording. Super wow! This is definitely one of the most interesting mobile phones I have ever seen. Samsung Omnia HD i8910 uses the amazing Symbian S60 edition interface, unlike its predecessor which used Windows Mobile, on its awesome touchscreen and makes the whole experience heavenly. Samsung has also included the TouchWiz interface on the top.

It comes with a whooping 8 or 16 GB integrated memory, depending on the model and the memory can be extended upto 32GB using a compatible microSD card. Samsung Omnia HD i8910 also has GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity so one can use it in places with wireless internet. Some fun features include an accelerometer, FM radio, podcasting and a proximity sensor. It has DivX and DNLA support.

The camera captures pictures beautifully and automatically switches from wide to tall in orientation depending on the way the phone is held. To get better pictures, check out this video has autofocus and an inbuilt flash. the games that come with this phone also include 3D games. The camera with the HD video recording is one of its main features and that is what makes this phone stand out. This feature combined with the big screen gives a very nice video experience.

The audio experience is also great on Samsung and used dual stereo speakers. This is a big phone and uses powerful 1500 mAh battery. This battery is sufficient for long recording and for video playback. One can also use the flash as much as one wants without fearing that the battery will run out. With this phone, Samsung beat all the other brands with its innovation.
